SERVICE ‣ SEXUAL HEALTH
OUR APPROACH
Men’s sexual health consultations focus on understanding the medical, hormonal, and lifestyle factors that may affect sexual function—with a thorough history, targeted assessment, and an individualised care plan.
Clinical approach
Men’s sexual health consultations focus on understanding the factors that may affect sexual function, including medical conditions, hormone levels, and lifestyle influences. During the visit, we take time to review your symptoms and health history, and may recommend a focused physical examination or investigations when appropriate.

Treatment plans are individualised and may include medical therapy, hormone treatment when clinically appropriate, education, or coordination with other healthcare providers when needed. Testosterone therapy is considered only when medically indicated and based on thorough clinical assessment and current medical guidelines.
Men’s sexual health consultations at OttawaNPservices are medical in nature and provided within NP scope of practice. Understanding what falls outside this scope ensures you receive the right care in the right setting.
