ADHD assessment at OttawaNPservices is centred on careful, comprehensive clinical evaluation of adult ADHD and ADD using validated diagnostic tools and a structured review of symptoms, functioning, and history.

Use of validated screening and diagnostic tools: ASRS v1.1, DSM-5, WFIRS-S.
Evaluation of comorbidities: anxiety, depression, sleep, substance use.
Medication assessment and management when indicated.
A comprehensive medical and mental health history.
Education about diagnosis and treatment options.
Clear follow-up and referral planning.
Diagnostic Tools Used
Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS v1.1). DSM-5 diagnostic criteria. Weiss Functional Impairment Rating Scale (WFIRS-S). Validated anxiety and depression screening instruments for comorbidity assessment.
